Monday: young Palestinian killed in Hebron after attack
A young Palestinian man was shot dead after he allegedly stabbed and critically wounded an Israeli man near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron's Old City on Monday afternoon, Israeli and Palestinian sources said.
Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld said Israeli Border Police shot the Palestinian after he stabbed an Israeli man in his 40s.The Israeli was evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem for medical treatment in critical condition.
Locals identified the Palestinian as 21-year-old Ihab Fathi Miswadi. He was number 117 since 1 October to be killed. Israeli forces prevented Palestinian emergency services from reaching Ihab to medical care after he was shot.The soldiers did not provide any medical care themselves, locals said.
